In Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do (JFJKD) we are able to enhance our attributes with the various striking targets, training partners, and even the Wooden Dummy. Ages old, this tool helps us understand the center line concept, as well as simultaneous blocking and hitting. It teaches us tactile sensitivity and builds our coordination. What makes this any different than searching for videos online?
First, you cannot guarantee the quality of the material you might find. You could spend hours surfing and comparing videos, but never honestly know if they were correct. So how does the Specialty Certification Course work?
We have designed 17 levels which include a progressive build up through Ung Moon and the Jun Fan Wooden Dummy Sets 1-10. You will receive complete access to all the material which spans 60+ videos offering multiple angles and most importantly, our unique Transition Drills. These specific drills are both the glue and the polish that have helped hundreds of other students and instructors with their Wooden Dummy practice. As prescribed, these miniature sets offered only in our Course, will help you dissolve each movement into your nervous system and build your tactile reflexes. If you are wanting to graduate our Specialty Certification Program, then you must qualify on the training levels, however it isn't mandatory. What if I don't have a Dummy?
We recall traveling all around chasing our instructors down to learn this material. We were fortunate to practice and learn on a Wooden Dummy with our instructors present. The only problem we ran into was when we came home and didn't have our own Dummy to practice on. For this reason, we have created our "No Dummy, No Problem" Videos. These create a way for you to be able to practice anywhere with or without a Wooden Dummy!
